you won't believe it...

i had a salad for lunch today!!!! a ceasar salad (i think) with lettuce and chicken and croutons and cheese and creamy ceasar dressing! it was fabulous. but this is huge for me you see because forever i have only eaten lettuce with sugar and cream. WHO AM I???

some people's children

there were two munchkins in my office just barely while their mother got a massage, and i could hardly stand it. they make these wierd noises and talk ALL THE TIME. even to themselves. and then they stumble across something interesting and repeat that in a sing-songy voice overandoverandover. and they touch and play with everything. she picked up my countertop samples that are on my desk like she has no fear. and the boy came and stood right next to me to feel the different countertop profiles. to tell the truth, i was shaking in my shoes. they scare me. and then the mother came out and she had another one and a baby with her and the baby started crying and everyone was talking and crying and it was horrible. i may never have children. i can't decide if i hate them, or if i am deathly afraid of them.
